Cincen Mist Arena
Cinen Mist Arena was my first large-scale geometric painting created in my 52nd Street studio, New York. The work was originally titled Cincen, an abstract name I later changed to the more meaningful Mist Arena. I learned from that early naming decision, as it eventually led to some confusion—the National Gallery of Australia now refers to the piece by both titles. As a result, both names have become part of the painting’s history, and both shall remain.
