Mauve River
‘Mauve River’ From a childhood holiday in Kenilworth Queensland, remembering Lantana bush flowers, casting mauve reflections on the Mary River. I saw a Platypus for the first time, was taught how to fish for catfish, and shown how to filter drinking water, by digging into the sand beside the river and waiting for clear water to seep through.
